I prayed for you before I called you mine

On 9/22/15 I had an amazing conversation with the Haiti director from an agency called A Love Beyond Borders, within moments I knew this was our agency because her love for special needs children was so genuine. This was the fifth agency interview all the details were starting to blend together but Love Beyond Borders stood out, we talked for almost an hour. I knew in my heart this was where our family belonged and at the end of the call the director told me a about a baby who had a severe special need that scared most families.

I remember her passion and how much she loved this sweet child, she wasn't trying to place with us just asked to simply pray, I never saw a photo or knew a name but I remember praying for this special baby and hoping a family would be found.

Prayers were answered that day. I just didn't know then that we were that sweet baby's family. It can't wait to share more details about our story it just couldn't have been written any better. We hope to send out paperwork to Haiti soon!
