I-800 Fingerprints

Today the Castagno family of four entered USCIS- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to apply for our application from the United States of America to receive approval to adopt a child from another county. Our fingerprint appointment was scheduled at 8 am and due the location of the USCIS office and the girls daycare they were along for the ride.

It was early and everyone was tired, we grabbed all the paperwork , breakfast in the car and we were off, on schedule. Bette insisted on wearing her full piece glamour tutu, which at 6:30 in the morning just wasn't worth the fight (Let me tell you Lottie has NEVER refused one of my hand picked outfits, Miss Bette is a totally different gal)

This is the LAST piece for our Dossier! These fingerprints/biometrics appointment is the final piece of paper that will make up or 50 plus page dossier.

Our appointment went fast, we were in and out within 30 minutes and off to work and school. it was a windy but beautiful day here in Austin, TX , we couldn't help but smile It's an honor to be at this stage of our adoption. We cannot wait to share more about our special boy that stole hearts over a year ago. He is worth every hurdle & we are so close.
